The 2024 My Peecock Wild West Comedy Fest will be held April 4th thru April 6th. Located at Los Trece Wild West Town in Early, TX, right smack in the middle of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. 

Los Trece is a family friendly venue, and this festival is no different. The festival will host a variety of shows from family friendly to late night anything goes shows. Food venders will be located onsite to keep you fueled up through the festival. You can hang your hat close with  on-site accommodation's along with other local lodging options. If you want the authentic wild west feel, pitch a tent on one of the available camp sites. 

The My Peecock Wild West Comedy Fest will bring a number of opportunities for performing comedians and comedy fans alike. You won't want to miss out on this inaugural event. 

The My Peecock Comedy Festival encourages comedians of all styles to apply. Each non-headlining performer will be selected through open submission. We will select 60 comedians to perform during the festival. Each selected performing comedian will have at least 10 minutes to perform at the Wild West Comedy Fest. Depending on the comedy styles you select. It is possible to have multiple performances. This is a non-paying event.

Submissions are open from November 1st -January 31, 2024. 

All submissions must be provided via the My Peecock Comedy website. There is no other way. DO NOT GET SCAMMED.

All Performers Must be at Least 18 Years of Age

Entry is not complete until all of the below have been completed:

•  Read the Submission Rules document in its entirety

• Complete the Submission Form including a link to your Submission Video

• Pay the Required Submission Fee (Non-Refundable)

• Receive a Confirmation of your submission

There is no limit to the number of submissions each comedian can send in.  Each submission requires its own submission fee; all fees are non refundable.

All submissions require a 5-minute video that showcases your skills as a comedian. If you provide a longer video, only the first 5 minutes will be viewed. 

It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to notify the festival in writing if the applicant changes his/her email, postal address, or phone number during the submission period.

The requirements of submitting your video set are clearly stated below. All are necessary. If the video you hope to submit does not meet these requirements, refrain from submitting until you have a video within compliance. If your video does not meet the requirements, your submission will not be considered and your submission fee will not be refunded. All submissions require a 5-minute video that showcases your skills as a comedian. If you provide a longer video, only the first 5 minutes will be viewed.

By submitting material, you represent and warrant to the festival that (i) the material is wholly original and does not infringe upon or otherwise violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary right of any person or entity, (ii) you have all rights necessary to submit the material to the festival in accordance with these official festival rules, and (iii) no party other than you has any right, title, or interest in and to the material or any part of the material which would impair the rights granted to festival hereunder. Material must not contain nudity, or any unlawful acts.

All applicants will be notified via email whether they are selected or not. If you do not receive a notification from My Peecock Comedy that you are selected to perform then you are not a selected performer. All selected performers will be notified by February 7th, 2024. All selected performers must respond by February 12, 2024 to accept our performance offer.

My Peecock will make a public announcement of selected performers by February 15th, 2024.

All selected comedians will be provided special non-ticketed access. Non-selected comedians, as well as guests of comedians, are encouraged to attend, however they will be required to pay general ticket prices. Ticket sales to the public will begin in mid-January.

By submitting to the My Peecock Comedy Wild West Comedy Fest, all applicants/performers understand submission does not guarantee acceptance. My Peecock Comedy shall not be liable for any, late, lost, misdirected, unintelligible entries, including failed transmissions of forms, electronic data and video content. 

By submitting to the festival, I agree to abide by all rules established herein.

ATTENDANCE 

By submitting, I agree to participate in good faith, and should there be a situation that keeps me from attending and performing, I will notify My Peecock Comedy in writing as soon as possible. I also understand all submission fees are non-refundable, even if I am unable to attend. I will arrive well in advance of all shows, exhibitions and events for which I am registering.

USE OF PERSONAL VOICE OR LIKENESS

By submitting, I grant and allow My Peecock Comedy and/or Los Trece permission to publish my submitting information including, bio, photo and video for the purposes of promotion both before and after the event. This use may include websites, social media, promotion materials, podcasts, print materials, videos, posts, flyers, etc.

PRIVACY POLICY

My Peecock Comedy DOES NOT share, rent, sell or distribute personal content such as email, address and payment information gathered during the submission process.

By submitting, I understand that I am solely responsible for my actions before, during and after the Wild West Comedy Fest. I agree to apply common sense in both my safety and the safety of others. I agree to take all disagreements to My Peecock Comedy, Los Trece or provided security, and will not engage in appropriate actions such as insults or violence.  I will also be responsible with any use of alcohol or drugs.

By submitting, I understand no firearms, fireworks, explosives, dangerous chemical or weapons are allowed in festival area. All legal firearms are required to remain off-site or lock securely in your vehicle.

By submitting, I understand that I can be removed from the Los Trece property at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to public intoxication, fighting, belligerency or threatening any guests, staff or other performers. No refunds of any kind will be given and if I am lodging on Los Trece property, I will be immediately evicted. All deposits and payments will be forfeited. If necessary, law enforcement will be told to remove you from the premises.

By submitting, I understand My Peecock Comedy reserves the right to remove any performer from the lineup or alter the performance order at any time and for any reason.

By submitting, I understand that while traveling to, from or during the comedy festival, any damages, injuries or incidents requiring liability or monetary expenses are the sole responsibility of the applicant.

PHOTOGRAPHY: We will have multiple staff photographers and videographers on site during the My Peecock Wild West Fest. All images taken before, during or after the festival by My Peecock Comedy Festival Staff, are property of the Wild West Comedy Fest. Applicants/Performers give full permission to be photographed and video/audio recorded at The Wild West Comedy Fest. Applicants/Performers also give permission to My Peecock Wild West Comedy Fest and its employees, volunteers, and interns to use these photos and images for promotion, advertising through the website, social media, and print. and possible film projects.

FESTIVAL LINE-UP: The full festival line up will be announced on our website in the early spring of 2024.

IS THIS FESTIVAL A COMEDY COMPETITION?

No, not in the strict sense. There are plenty of opportunities to be competitive through various not performing events. This festival features showcase style performances. Have you ridden a mechanical bull or milked a pig?

CAN I EMAIL MY SUBMISSION TO YOU?

Unfortunately, no. In an effort to keep the submission process going smoothly, only online submissions at https://www.mypeecock.com/wild-west-comedy-fest/comedian-submissions will be accepted. There is no other way. If you find one, it is not authorized by My Peecock Comedy. If you discover any questionable sites or messaging regarding the My Peecock Wild West Comedy Fest, please notify My Peecock Comedy immediately.

IS THERE A COST FOR SUBMISSION?

Yes. Submission prices vary depending on how soon you submit for performance. Prices range from $25 to $40. All submission fees are non-refundable.

WHO CAN SUBMIT?

Any comic over 18 years of age. We are accepting both clean and blue (adult) comedy submissions. We have spots for all levels of performers. (See submission form for details.)

IS ON-SITE LODGING AVAILABLE?

Yes. There are a limited number of Air BNBs and camper hookups available. (See https://www.lostrece.com for details.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

Yes. Parking spaces are quite plentiful. We also have access to additional parking in close proximity.

CAN WE APPLY AS A GROUP?

Yes. Only standup comedy duos are welcome at this time. Duo means two, not three.

WILL INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS BE INVITED TO THE FESTIVAL?

Yes. All industry professionals are invited to attend. Also, we have invited a few special VIPs.

IS THE WILD WEST COMEDY FESTIVAL OPEN TO NON-COMEDIANS?

Only comedians can perform; however, this event is meant for everyone. Events with adult related content will be performed in front of age-appropriate audiences only. Bring your friends and family. Invite your fans. There will be activities for everyone. (More information will be available soon.)

DO YOU ONLY ACCEPT CLEAN VIDEOS?

No. Clean or not, we are accepting videos across the spectrum. No nudity or over the top content. If you do not know what that means, call a friend. 

WILL THERE BE WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE? IS THERE A COST TO ATTEND THESE WORKSHOPS?

Yes. There will be several workshops and breakout sessions available for free to all 60 performing comedians. Non-performing comedians may attend workshops at an additional cost. Workshops will cover topics such as:  marketing, promotions, video and graphics, stage performance, crowd work, as well as other comedy career-building subjects. A full description and fees for each workshop will be posted here on the My Peecock Comedy website.

WILL THERE BE Q & A SESSIONS?

Yes. We intend to have a handful of beneficial open discussions. These open sessions are the best when there are manageable groups, thus smaller short sessions will be our approach.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY?

My Peecock and Los Trece photographers and videographers will be all over town. When you provide a submission, you should also know there will be content being captured. You are free to shoot still photographs and short segments of performances; however, ANY VIDEO RECORDING OF HEADLINING COMEDIANS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Any video or photographic images taken by unauthorized staff or personnel are subject to copyright laws. If you have any questions, contact the comedian before publishing any content. Neither My Peecock Comedy or Los Trece are responsible for improper publishing of the material sets of others.

FORCE MAJEURE?

The show must go on. We will have the festival rain or shine, unless conditions pose a safety risk to comedians, event staff and the general public. Any health risk concern enough to postpone the festival will be dealt with appropriately. Should any unforeseen circumstances arise, we will notify all performers as soon as possible. No refunds will be given as the festival will be rescheduled.
